Check out this cool recycled plastic bottle lighting hack that I found over at Greenupgrader. It equates to a “Light Tube” alternative but is a very innovative reuse of trash to bring light into dark rooms during the day. I’m not sure how feasible it would be to utilize in most homes in the Europe or the US but this strikes me as as great solution for developing countries and a perfect low-cost, low consumption DIY way for you to add light to a shed or workshop.
