I went to a talk in London recently put on by http://www.theglasshouse.net/content/glasshouselondon (A great organization that host many great talks and get togethers for social entrepreneurs). It was an interview with Jeremy Legget, one of the leading voices in Europe on Peakoil and Climate change. After drilling down into the problem, pardon the pun, the most effective actions that we can take are to build on efficiency and conservation. Its a collaborative process, where joining forces and moving from the me to the we in our thinking is essential. This ship is carrying us all, not just certain individuals. And Doc, stick up an appropriate picture for this group yeah!!
