Where does the data used for these calculations come from?

Group graphs are calculated based on the carbon information of each approved member of a group. This includes administrators and members but it excludes banned members.

How can we improve the accuracy of our group carbon footprint?

Try to encourage all your group members to follow our guidelines and input all their carbon data.

What does the group graph show, how do I interpret it?

The graph shows average carbon usage of everyone in the group broken down to monthly values in tonnes of Co2 over the last 12 months.

By using averages it is easy for you to compare your group against other groups or even 'The Hive' to see how you are getting along against everyone else.

To calculate the averages we first sum all the users usages together and then divide by the number of users who have inputted carbon data for the month in question.
