Stop receiving phone books and use online directories

www.YellowPagesGoesGreen.org I haven't looked ion a phone directory for years and normally just recycle them as soon as they arrive. A co-worker found this organization who will contact the publishers and inform them to stop delivering books. This is a free service for consumers. www.YellowPagesGoesGreen.org is working with state and local governments on ordinances concerning the delivery of unsolicited telephone books.

    This is not as easy in the UK as it is in the US - unfortunately!

    Anyway, I have two numbers that hopefully will work (I'll report back)-

    BT Phone book - 0800 833 400
    Yellow Pages - 0800 671 444

    I can't find a number for Thompson, but their customer services is on - 01252 555 555.
