Cycle to work
It's only just over a mile but sure beats driving

Has their been any action on making public transport accessible to people who want to cycle at least part of the journy and bring their bike with them on the train or whatever. It's allowed on any of the other public transport systems around the world that i have experience with. Public transport in Dublin leaves alot of gaps between routes. I think people would use it more, instead of their car, if those gaps could be filled by cycling. Any thoughts in the hive?

One of the great things about it is it wakes me up in the morning, so by the time I get to the office I'm wide awake.

Even if its ten miles it would be better than sitting in traffic. What an insane waste of time, i was babysitting for my niece last night out in the burbs and I drove out there, came into town at 8.30 and I could'nt believe it, what a pain in the hoopla.... How do people do it, and the cost of petrol, its a no brainer for me. Keep fit, save money and save the world. Rain gear for the rain or a Dart... And nobody car sharing... It seems to me that we are not thinking this through. Driving to work to support our kids and damning their future in the process, the irony!! At least its sunny.... on your bike!! There's some pretty funky looks you can get going too!!!!
