I'm with Vicky on this one.
Furthermore I don't know if my charger is set to do something sensible like slow its rate of power over time.
I assume it hasn't, because it's not been highlighted as a sale point!
Do Macs do this?
i only plug my lab in for the first hour or so of use.... not sure if this is good or bad???
already a routine

I also make sure mine is unplugged as nasty wires trailing around make the place look messy, and, you might trip up on them!
Its the same deal as your phone charger, if you practice one you are practicing the other in my experience... The habit will form!!
I found that if you show the battery status in your menu bar it's easy to know when your laptop is at MAX power!
I imagine you could always use a power cord and use that switch to switch your appliances (and laptop charger) off. Though how much latent energy that draws I'm unsure of.
