Keep my radiators clear
Don't block radiators. Putting furniture in front of your radiators stops them warming the room efficiently. Move furniture, like your bed, away from the heat source - a hot headboard makes for a cold room. Rearranging your rooms with this in mind will save you money as you'll use less heating.

Hmm, I'm guessing the sofa would block a lot of heat as it's foam would prob act like insulation. I would go with the bookshelf if that is the only option.
